Enrolment Information

Monday to Friday the Centre opens at 7:30am and closes at 5.30pm.

The Centre is closed for public holidays and for the break over Christmas time, reopening in early January.

Full day enrolment requires a minimum of 6 hours daily attendance to qualify for funding from the Ministry of Education. 

Our fees are as below are on a weekly basis and are extremely competitive (when considering the experienced and high quality qualified certified teaching team and the high qualified teacher to child ratio):

FamilyBoost ECE Scheme

From 1 July 2025 

The quarterly income threshold would increase from $45,000 to $57,286. This means if a family’s household income is under $57,286 per quarter, they’d be eligible to claim FamilyBoost. 

• The amount that could be claimed would increase. Eligible families would be able to claim up to 40% of their ECE costs (up from 25%), or a maximum of $1,560 each quarter (up from $975). 

• The abatement rate. FamilyBoost would be abated at a rate of 7%.This means if a family’s household income is over $35,000 but under $57,286 per quarter, their FamilyBoost payment would be the lesser of:

  • 40% of the ECE fees they’ve claimed, or

  • the maximum amount ($1,560) less 7 cents for each dollar they earned over $35,000.

IRD allows claim lodgement for the FamilyBoost ECE payments quarterly. For lodging the FamilyBoost ECE claims with IRD, the Small Kauri FamilyBoost ECE quarterly statements will be needed.

Fees are to be paid weekly by direct credit or bank deposit and one week in advance

For all enrolments there is a minimum of 6 hours attendance required by the Ministry of Education to qualify for funding.

Fees are not charged when the Centre is closed during the Christmas period.
